What is TD in the DIO module? What is its main function?
1.TD stands for Time-Out Status Latch, meaning it’s a latch for the pause status
2.Its primary purpose is to manage the behavior of DO (Digital Output) in the DIO module when communication is interrupted:
- When TD is enabled, in the event of a communication interruption, the module’s digital outputs (DO) will reset to their default state, as shown in Figure 2
- When TD is disabled, in the event of a communication interruption, the module’s digital outputs (DO) will retain their state from before the interruption, as illustrated in Figure 3
