MyLink Tool - Axis Parameter Storage and Retrieval Single-Axis Type
MyLink Tool - Single-Axis Parameter Storage and Retrieval
Primary Functions:
- Store and backup configuration parameters for single-axis and four-axis modules
- Configurable parameters for backup include
-Origin setting
-I/O functions/logic
-Pulse input/output settings
- These backups can be directly called and utilized in software applications
- For on-site personnel installing the same equipment, these configurations can be easily referenced

Primary Target Users:
- Single-axis series: Configuration parameters can be backed up to EEPROM or a PC
-102-M1x1-xxx series
-107-M2A2-GEN
-Stepper drive series: STP-M11x, STP-M511x, SVR-M11X
Steps for Using MyLink Tool to Store Single-Axis Parameters
- Launch the MyLink tool to enter the main operation interface
- Check the box for the axis you want to work with and proceed to axis parameter settings
– For MIO logic settings, configure parameters such as ALM, +/-EL, INP, SD, and more
-Configure homing settings, including
-Mode selection
-ORG/EZ/ERC settings
-Configure Pulse In/Out settings, including
-Selection of the Pulse output interface
-Selection of the encoder input source and interface
-Decide whether numerical values should be in the negative direction
*Please note that these settings should match the actual configuration of the axis

3.After completing the parameter configuration, click on the “File” option in the toolbar and select “Backup Config to…

3.Select the pre-saved backup location
- PC
- EEPROM

5.After selecting “PC,”→ please click on the desired axis→ A new window will appear when you click “Browse.” →Enter the desired file name in the next window and click “Save” to complete the process

6.Select “EEPROM,”→ then check the desired axis for backup→ Click “Save.” After completion, a success message will appear, indicating that the backup has been stored in the module’s EEPROM

MyLink Tool - Single-Axis Parameter Retrieval Procedure
1.MyLink main operating screen → Click on “File” in the toolbar, and select “Recover Config From ..”

2.Select the source to read from
- PC
- EEPROM
- Another one

3.If “From cfg file” is selected
Step1 – Read the parameter file
Step2 – Choose the axis(es) you wish to load (multiple selections allowed)
Step3 – Load

4.If “EEPROM” is selected
Step1 – Read the parameters from the Self EEPROM
Step2 – Choose the axis(es) you wish to load
Step3 – Load

5.If “Another” is selected
Step1 – Read the parameter file
Step2 – Choose the axis(es) you wish to load
Step3 – Load
