MyLink Tool - Axis Module Screen Explanation
The primary function of MyLink in the Axis Module
The main functions of MyLink in the Axis Module are:
- Confirmation of module IDs and communication testing
- Verification of relevant IO logic in the axis module and servo motor driver (stepper motor driver), including ALM, INP, EZ, ERC, etc
- Confirmation of pulse output and input interfaces in the axis module and servo motor driver (stepper motor driver) – Pulse output/Pulse input (Encoder)
- Verification of relevant IO logic on the mechanical equipment, such as EL+/-, ORG, EMG
- After completing all settings, confirmation of motor operation through single-axis module control
– Move: Relative / Absolute / Continuous / Home / Home search…
– Compare Trigger

MyLink Axis Module Screen Explanation - Module Configuration Area
Module Configuration Area: There are a total of 6 groups
1.Auto Compare:
2.Home Configuration:
3.Information
4.Interface I/O
5.Operation
6.Pulse I/O

1.Auto Compare: Mainly sets the corresponding parameters for the Compare trigger
- CompareMethod:
– Comparison Method
– Directionless: No directionality
– (Dir+)Signal Output While Counting Up positive direction
– (Dir-)Signal Output While Counting Down negative direction
- CompareSource:
– Compare Source Setting
– Command
– Encoder
- CompareInterval:
– Equidistant Interval Value
– Setting Range1~32767

2.Home Configuration: Mainly setting the corresponding parameters for executing the Home operation
- Home Mode: Choose the method of executing Home
– Supported modes include: Mode 0 to Mode 12, a total of 13, please refer to the illustrated explanation in section 3.7.4.1 of the software manual

- ORG_Logic: Main Home Signal
– Set ORG logic to be consistent with hardware logic
– LowActive / HighActive

- EZ_Logic:
– Set EZ logic to be consistent with hardware logic
– Home mode: 2~5,7,8,10~12are used for Home

- EZ_Count:
– On a servo motor, there is one EZ signal per revolution, while optical rulers typically have only one
– Home mode: : 2~5,7,8,10~12 ,use this signal for homing accordingly

- ERC_Out:
– Mainly used to select whether to output the ERC signal to the servo drive when homing is completed

- ORG_Offset:
– Home_Mode:Values that need to be set when executing the Home search function for modes 0 to 5, 9 to 12. Please refer to the illustration in Section 3.7.4 of the manual. An example is shown below:

3.Information
- Primarily used to display information about the operating axis
- The content includes Ring, IP, and axis model type
